Relationships matter and here at Rhino we are all about fostering supportive collaborations.  Whether you are a seasoned veteran of many shows past or someone experiencing Rhino for the first time, you are a part of this dynamic and awe-inspiring family.  At times we are extremely busy with multiple corporate events, concerts, festivals or stadium shows happening simultaneously. Throughout them all, Rhinos endure making what seemed insurmountable at first a proud achievement by the end.  These accomplishments are the result of what you have all contributed as a team.  Our relationships with each other are what make us a supportive team and through those relationships, we share success.

As our founder Jeff Giek once said, “the two things that will affect your life the most are the books you read and the people you meet”.  Each day at Rhino is an opportunity to meet someone new, be empowered by their story, and seek success with one another.

To paraphrase Booker T. Washington, “Success is to be measured not so much by the position we reach in life as the obstacles we overcome trying to succeed.”  As so in life, also in work.

Showing Up Prepared

It’s not what we did, but how we did it.  Did we do just enough, or go above and beyond?  Were we just there, or did we come prepared?

It says a lot when a well-equipped, sharp looking crew arrives ready for the challenge.  Showing up looking like you are there to get something done is the reflection of everything you have put into getting there.  Each person doing their best contributes to everyone’s success.  We affect each other’s morale.

In today’s age where positive attitudes towards hard and safe work vary, those with strong work ethics truly stand out.  Now it’s true that everyone has a bad day once in a while and misery surely loves company, but if someone has the opportunity to bring light into your day and does it, your relationship is stronger for it.  We all have the power to do just that.  Writer Oscar Wilde said, “Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go.”  Strive to be the person whose arrival is welcomed and it will always be appreciated.

Individually, we have influence over our surroundings and relationships with our co-workers.  That influence multiplies as we in turn influence others.  It is up to each of us whether or not that influence is a positive one.  Our accomplishments tell our story. Rhinos have many stories of success and many yet to be told.
